A Family Business Built Around Helping People
Our story
Salhus Septic & Portable Toilet Rentals has been family-owned and operated since 2007. What started as a local service business has grown around a simple idea: when people need septic or sanitation help, they should have someone dependable to call who will treat the job seriously and communicate clearly.
Our family works together in the business, and that shared responsibility shapes the way we serve customers. Our father is a police officer, our mother is a teacher, and both work alongside their son in the company, bringing different strengths and a strong sense of responsibility into the day-to-day operation. Those backgrounds may be different, but they share something important with this work: showing up, helping people, and taking care of the community.
Over the years, we have continued to expand the ways we can help. Today, our services include septic tank work, snaking, portable restrooms, handwash stations, drain cleaning for shops and car washes, and septic tank plumbing, giving customers one local team for several important sanitation and wastewater needs.
Septic Services That Keep Things Moving
Residential and commercial
Septic problems are rarely convenient, and they are not something most homeowners or businesses want to spend much time thinking about until something goes wrong. When drains slow down, septic tanks need attention, or a system needs troubleshooting, having an experienced local team can make the situation much easier to manage.
We provide septic system support for residential and commercial customers who need practical, dependable service. Our work can include snaking septic tanks, septic tank plumbing, and other services designed to help customers address drainage and wastewater issues before they become even more disruptive.
We also understand that every property is different. A homeowner may be dealing with a single septic concern, while a commercial property may need broader wastewater management solutions to keep operations moving, so we approach each situation based on what the customer actually needs.
Portable Toilet Rentals for Events, Job Sites, and More
For work and gatherings
A portable toilet may not be the centerpiece of an event or project, but it can make a major difference in how comfortable and organized the site feels. When restrooms are not available nearby, temporary restroom solutions become an essential part of planning.
We provide porta potty rentals for large events, commercial sites, outdoor gatherings, and other situations where dependable restroom access is needed. Our goal is to make the process straightforward so customers can focus on everything else they are organizing.
For larger or longer-term needs, we can also help customers think through the number of units and type of sanitation support that may make sense for the site. Whether the need is simple or more involved, we work to provide clean, practical solutions that fit the situation.
Handwash Stations Add Another Level of Convenience
A complete sanitation setup
We offer handwash stations that can be paired with portable toilet rentals to create a more complete onsite sanitation setup. These stations help make temporary spaces more functional and give people a convenient way to wash up when permanent facilities are not nearby.
Our goal is to help customers avoid piecing together sanitation needs from several different providers. By offering multiple services in one place, we make it easier to create a practical setup for the property, event, or project.
Shop and Carwash Drain Cleaning
Dependable drainage
Commercial drains can take a beating, especially in shops, service areas, and car washes where water, debris, dirt, and other materials move through the system every day. When a drain begins slowing down or backing up, it can interfere with daily operations quickly.
We provide drain cleaning for shops and car washes as part of our broader wastewater management solutions. Our team works to identify the blockage or drainage issue and help restore normal flow so the business can get back to operating as smoothly as possible.
That kind of practical service is important to us because we know downtime costs businesses time and money. We aim to respond with the same helpful, straightforward attitude whether the job involves a homeowner, a local business, or a larger commercial property.
Friendly Service From People Who Live Here Too
People you can call
We believe being family-owned also helps keep the service personal. Customers are not just job numbers moving through a large system, and we want people to feel comfortable calling us with questions or explaining what is going on.
That local connection matters to us because we have been serving this region since 2007. We value the trust people place in us and want every interaction to reinforce the idea that they can call Salhus when they need dependable sanitation help again.
Customer Satisfaction Comes First
Our commitment
We do not believe good service ends when the truck pulls away. If something does not go as expected, we want customers to reach out so we can understand the concern and work toward a practical resolution.
That accountability is especially important in septic and sanitation work because customers often depend on the service to keep their home, business, or event functioning properly. We want to be the kind of company people remember for being helpful, responsive, and easy to work with.
Serving Homeowners, Businesses, and Large Events
Here for our community
Our customers come to us for many different reasons. Some are homeowners dealing with septic tanks or drainage problems, while others are businesses that need commercial septic support, drain cleaning, or ongoing sanitation services.
We also work with event organizers who need portable restrooms and handwash stations for large gatherings. We help create the temporary restroom solutions people need when permanent facilities are not available, from smaller private events to busier public or commercial functions.
That variety is one of the things we enjoy most about the business. Every day can look a little different, but the goal remains consistent: solve the sanitation problem, keep communication clear, and leave the customer feeling taken care of.
